StratLoad™ Attachment Points

The patented StratLoad Attachment Points for CMC's litters allow any size carabiner to be used to attach a lifting bridle while keeping both the carabiners and the lifting bridle on the inside of the litter’s top rail. This provides protection from abrasion along cliff faces and building walls. The StratLoad feature also prevents cross gate and side loading of carabiners and orients the direction of pull along the spine of the carabiner, where it is strongest. StratLoads are 1/4 in. (6mm) thick with a fullround radius on the inside edge, allowing the option of a soft attachment, which is then protected by the top railing. StratLoads are now standard on all stainless and titanium litters.

The CMC Rescue Split-Apart Rescue Stretcher design is based on a concept that was developed and proven by a leading rescue organization. The stretcher "hinges" together at the bottom, and is then secured by threaded collets on the top rail. This design is quick and easy to assemble or take apart, it eliminates the problems associated with inserting one tube into another, as well as with having to place pins etc.

The ProSeries Split-Apart Rescue Stretchers have all of the same features as our one-piece Rescue Stretchers. The top rail is a full one-inch diameter to make the stretcher easier to handle when carried for extended periods, and it has been reinforced with double tubing at the head and foot ends for extra strength during vertical raises and lowers.

All of ProSeries Split-Apart Rescue Stretchers incorporate the use of a patented "StratLoad™" attachment points for an easy and secure attachment of a lifting bridle. The "chicken wire" has been replaced with a Durathene netting which won't rust thus eliminating the cuts and scrapes caused by broken wires and is much easier clean.

The back support is molded High Density Polyethylene for greater durability and ease of cleaning. The steep sided design allows for a narrower overall width to the stretcher while allowing the width at the bed, to accept a standard 16" tapered, sized backboards. The narrow width and rounded ends provide greater maneuverability.
